The Charangon is a larger relative of the charango that is tuned a forth or fifth lower.

The ronroco is usually tuned a forth or octave lower.
The terms ronroco and charangon are often used interchangeably. However, there seems to be a tendency that
the term ronroco is used for the largest variants and the term charangon is used for the mid-sized charango variants.
